POS
Case Study
Problem Statement
Point of Sale (POS) system encompasses various modules, including sale creation, operation-products, operation-inventory, supplier management, data management, order processing, service and repair, customer management, chat module, and buyback. However, the system encounters several challenges that hinder its efficiency. One of the main issues lies in the inefficient sale creation process, which causes delays in serving customers. Additionally, inaccurate inventory management leads to discrepancies and potential stockouts. Supplier management lacks effectiveness, resulting in difficulties in product sourcing and pricing. Data inconsistencies pose challenges in generating reliable reports and analytics. Order processing bottlenecks cause delays in fulfilling customer orders. Service and repair management suffers from tracking and communication gaps with customers.
Problem Solution
The solution to the challenges faced by Point of Sale (POS) system involves implementing various measures. First, the sale creation process can be streamlined by introducing a user-friendly interface with simplified steps. Automation features such as barcode scanning and quick product selection will expedite the process, while real-time inventory updates will prevent overselling and stockouts. Second, a robust inventory management system can be implemented, providing real-time and accurate stock information. Third, supplier management can be enhanced through the development of a centralized module that facilitates efficient communication and collaboration. Real-time updates on product availability and pricing, as well as automated purchase order generation, will optimize the procurement process.

Qualitative Research
Qualitative research involves conducting interviews and focus groups with stakeholders to gather in-depth insights into their experiences, pain points, and expectations related to the current POS system. Observations of users interacting with the system in real-world settings provide additional qualitative data. User surveys are administered to collect opinions and preferences.
Quantitative Research
quantitative research involves analyzing existing data within the system, such as sales data and customer feedback, to identify trends and patterns. User metrics and A/B testing are used to gather quantitative data on system usage and measure the impact of variations. Customer surveys provide quantitative insights into satisfaction levels and preferences.
